Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients via phone calls and email
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage dental patient appointments
  • Respond to patient inquiries regarding services, appointments, and procedures
  • Assist with billing communication and follow-up with patients regarding payments
  • Conduct patient follow-up calls after appointments or treatments and follow up with past existing clients
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Coordinate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient scheduling and care
  • Ensure professionalism and confidentiality when handling patient information


Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Dentistry, Dental Therapy, Dental Nursing, Dental Hygiene, or a related healthcare field
  • Minimum of 2 year experience working in a dental clinic or dental-related environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and patient communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • High attention to detail and professionalism
  • A clear accent without traces of tribal pronunciation is an added advantage
  • Willingness to work temporarily in Lagos till the company relocates to Ibadan, with accommodation provided for the ideal candidate.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with dental practice management software or patient scheduling systems
  • Experience handling dental billing, insurance inquiries, or treatment coordination
  • Previous experience providing remote administrative support for a healthcare practice
