Responsibilities:
- Proven experience as a cook, chef, or in a similar food preparation role (office, restaurant, cafeteria, or hospitality setting preferred)
- Basic knowledge of nutrition, healthy meal preparation, and portion control Ability to plan menus and accommodate dietary restrictions
- Thorough understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Skilled in operating equipment and appliances
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of reliability, responsibility, and integrity
- Flexibility to adapt to changing meal requirements or special events
- Minimum of a high school diploma; certification in food handling, catering, or culinary arts is an advantage
- Willingness to work early mornings or flexible hours as needed
