Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake pastries such as meat pies, sausage rolls, doughnuts, and desserts
- Follow standard recipes, portion control, and production plans
- Monitor baking temperatures, quality, and presentation
- Support daily pastry production and seasonal menu offerings
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Assist with stock control and minimise food waste
- Ensure consistent quality across all pastry products
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent
- Training in pastry, catering, or culinary arts is an advantage
- Previous experience in pastry baking is preferred
- Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and instructions
- Creative, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
