Job descriptions & requirements
- Schedule and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Monitor the condition of equipment, machinery, vehicles, and facilities.
- Maintain maintenance records, logs, and reports.
- Liaise with technicians, contractors, and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to identify maintenance needs.
- Track maintenance costs and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Follow up on repair requests and ensure timely completion.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory databases and stock records.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests when necessary.
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.
- Track the issuance and return of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and prepare reports.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams regarding stock requirements.
- Prepare weekly and monthly maintenance and inventory reports.
- Maintain documentation related to asset management and inventory control.
- Support budgeting and forecasting for maintenance materials and spare parts.
- Assist in implementing inventory and asset management systems.
- HND in engineering, supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in maintenance, inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with inventory management or computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
