Job summary
The Kitchen Assistant supports the smooth daily running of the kitchen by handling prep, cleanliness, and order execution. This role is essential to keeping service fast, organized, and consistent.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Carry out all daily prep before service begins (washing, cutting, and preparing vegetables and ingredients)
- Maintain high hygiene standards by cleaning prep areas, work surfaces, fridges, and utensils throughout the day
- Assist with sauce preparation and chicken marination according to set recipes
- Pack and organise completed orders accurately for delivery and pickup
- Support the cooking process by stepping in to prepare simple dishes when the Line Cook is unavailable or during peak periods
Requirements:
- 1 year experience
- Minimum of SSCE
