Yoghurt Production Personnel

Responsibilities:

• Prepare raw materials and ingredients according to established recipes and production schedules.
• Operate and monitor production equipment (pasteurisers, fermenters, homogenisers, etc.).
• Ensure proper fermentation and set times are maintained for optimal product quality.
• Conduct in-process quality checks (pH levels, temperature, texture, taste, etc.).
• Fill and package yoghurt into appropriate containers while ensuring hygiene and accuracy.
• Assist with inventory of raw materials and report shortages or quality issues to supervisors.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations at all times.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying areas for efficiency and quality enhancement.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, technical training, or equivalent. A diploma or certificate in food technology, microbiology, or a related field is a plus.
• 3 years of previous experience in dairy or food processing is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP and GMP).
• Ability to operate and maintain production machinery.
• Attention to detail, especially concerning cleanliness and quality control.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends, if required.

Remuneration: NGN 130,000 - 170,000
