Job summary
A specialized student safety and logistics startup seeks a tech-savvy Graduate Trainee for an intensive 12-month track in Lekki. Working with the MD, you’ll master our safety platform and manage school pilots. This role is a fast-track to Operations Manager, ideal for a "digital native" with an engineering degree seeking rapid career growth.

Responsibilities:
Phase 1: Operational Support (Months 1–4)
- Platform Mastery: Learn the ins and outs of the backend. Manage data manifests and bulk uploads using our specific Excel/CSV templates.
- Pilot Support: Assist in the onboarding of our first 3-bus pilot schools.
- Staff Engagement: Support the MD in conducting the 3-Day Physical Training Bootcamp for drivers and attendants at our Lekki Hub.
- Field Coordination: Shadow GPS installation contractors to ensure hardware is correctly deployed and activated.
Phase 2: Client Coordination (Months 5–8)
- Onboarding Lead: Take ownership of gathering student and route data from new school partners.
- Tier 1 Support: Act as the first point of contact for parents and school managers regarding app usage and basic troubleshooting.
- Reporting: Generate "Impact Reports" for schools, tracking fuel efficiency and safety metrics.
Phase 3: Junior Management (Months 9–12)
- Account Management: Manage ongoing relationships with school transport departments.
- Strategic Growth: Identify opportunities for route optimization and suggest platform improvements based on user feedback.
Requirements :
- Education: Recent Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./B.Eng) in Computer Science, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. (Completion of NYSC is mandatory).
- Tech-Fluency: You must be "digitally native"—comfortable with mobile apps, web dashboards, and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, CSV formatting).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to speak professionally to a School Director and empathetically to a Bus Driver.
- Grit & Curiosity: A startup mindset. You are someone who enjoys solving problems on the fly and is eager to learn how a tech business scales.
- Proximity: Ideally residing in the Lekki-Ajah corridor for easy access to our office hub.
