Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals in line with restaurant standards.
- Create and refine menu items, ensuring variety, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate meal preparation to meet service deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor inventory and manage kitchen supplies, including ordering ingredients.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all dishes.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills.
- Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Formal culinary training or certification is an added advantage.
- Expertise in local and international cuisines.
- Strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food costing, and inventory management.
- Must reside within the Lekki-Ajah axis for easy accessibility.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Creativity in food presentation and menu development.
- Strong commitment to quality control and attention to detail.
