E-commerce Operations Associate
Job summary
We are loooking to hire an E-commerce Operations Associate – Lagos (Island Based). This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on improving store operations and e-commerce performance. The associate will work directly with store teams to identify operational bottlenecks, close compliance gaps, and improve key order processing metrics such as order acceptance rate, preparation time, cancellations, store availability, device uptime, and rider delivery efficiency. You will conduct daily store briefings, review operational data with teams, identify performance issues, and drive corrective actions to ensure smooth order fulfilment and excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily morning briefings with store teams and review operational KPIs
- Identify bottlenecks affecting order processing and customer experience
- Drive improvements in acceptance rate, prep time, cancellations, and availability
- Ensure proper use of store tablets, apps, and connectivity tools
- Educate teams on SOPs, best practices, and operational standards
- Work with internal teams (Support, Tech, Supply) to resolve store issues
- Provide structured field insights and reports to the Operations Lead
Requirements:
- Experience in field operations, retail operations, or last-mile logistics
- Strong execution and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working with operational data and performance metrics
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to work in a highly field-based role
