Job Summary
We are looking to hire a Cook who will play a vital role in preparing high-quality food that meets our brand's standards for freshness, flavour, and presentation. You'll work in our central kitchen, preparing ingredients and menu items that will be distributed to our Toasties locations across Lagos. This role requires culinary skills, attention to details.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:
- Prepare a variety of food items, including sauces, marinades, vegetables, proteins, and other components of Toasties' menu items, according to standardized recipes and procedures.
- Follow strict quality control guidelines to ensure consistency and adherence to Toasties' standards.
- Portion and package food items for distribution to individual restaurant locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Kitchen Operations:
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries of food supplies.
- Properly label and date all food items.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.
Other Duties:
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Contribute to menu development and recipe testing as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- SSCE certificate or equivalent
- Culinary skills and paying attention to details.
