Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
- Build and customize websites based on business and client requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using relevant web technologies.
- Develop and implement website features, forms, integrations, and interactive elements.
- Ensure websites are responsive and compatible across different browsers and devices.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, security, and search engine visibility.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website and application issues.
- Perform regular website updates, maintenance, backups, and security checks.
- Integrate APIs, third-party services, payment gateways, and other required tools.
- Collaborate with designers, digital marketers, content teams, and management to deliver web projects.
- Manage website content and implement updates when required.
- Monitor website performance, traffic, uptime, and technical issues.
- Conduct website testing to identify and resolve functionality and usability problems.
- Maintain proper documentation of website code, systems, and technical processes.
- Stay updated with emerging web technologies, development tools, and industry best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance on website-related matters.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an OND in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in web development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
- Experience with PHP, Python, Node.js, or other relevant backend technologies is an advantage.
- Experience with WordPress, Elementor, or other CMS platforms is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and version control systems.
- Knowledge of SEO, website security, performance optimization, and web analytics.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles and website accessibility.
- Ability to work effectively with designers and non-technical team members.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with the team.
