Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead oil and gas projects and oversee field operations.
- Manage client relationships, contractors, and technical teams to ensure effective project delivery.
- Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and cost control.
- Support tender preparation, project planning, and execution.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Oil & Gas, or a related technical field.
- 8–10+ years of experience in oil and gas operations.
- Proven experience or exposure to drilling and well operations.
- Strong knowledge of rig operations, drilling processes, well control, casing, cementing, and drilling fluids.
- Experience managing field teams, contractors, and service companies.
- Strong understanding of HSE, regulatory compliance, and operational risk management.
- Ability to manage operational budgets, resources, schedules, and performance.
- Experience within the Nigerian oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
- Relevant certifications such as IWCF, IADC, HSE, or equivalent will be an advantage.
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria
Remuneration: NGN 1,200,000 Monthly
Benefits: HMO and 13th-month salary
