Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and present high-quality meals and baked goods daily.
  • Supervise and coordinate all kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensure all meals are prepared and served promptly.
  • Oversee proper food storage, labeling, and rotation systems.
  • Inspect ingredient freshness and quality daily.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to uphold performance standards.
  • Enforce strict hygiene, safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Monitor food costs and reduce wastage without compromising quality
  • Create signature dishes, pastries, and daily specials that delight customers.
  • Foster effective communication between the kitchen and service teams.
  • Maintain consistency in taste, portion, and presentation across shifts.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and order ingredients as required.
  • Evaluate customer feedback and improve recipes based on insights.
  • Maintain calm and control during peak hours, ensuring quality never drops.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Chef or Baker in a reputable restaurant, bakery, or catering business.
  • Strong expertise in both culinary and baking techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Passionate about creativity in the kitchen and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety best practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
