Partnerships Manager

Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage potential partners, including government bodies, corporate organisations, investors, and academic institutions, to drive funding and technical collaborations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with public and private sector stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and strategic priorities.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive database of key stakeholders and ecosystem players. Design and implement strategies to strengthen the ecosystem’s interconnectivity and resilience.
• Develop compelling partnership proposals, funding applications, and grant submissions to secure financial and technical support.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to implement partnership-driven programs, ensuring alignment with agreed objectives.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing, joint ventures, and ecosystem-building initiatives to strengthen the organisation's position
• Coordinate partner involvement in innovation summits, incubation programs, and entrepreneurship development initiatives.
• Track Partnerships' performance, deliver impact reports, and provide data-driven insights to improve engagement strategies.
• Oversee the effective management of the hubs, ensuring they operate as a dynamic and collaborative space for innovators, entrepreneurs, and partners. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Public Policy, Development Studies, Innovation Management, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Partnerships development, business development, or stakeholder engagement within the innovation, entrepreneurship, or development sectors.
• Understanding of innovation ecosystems, start-up incubation, and entrepreneurship development.
• Familiarity with funding mechanisms, public-private partnerships, and donor-funded programs.
• Proven ability to engage and negotiate with high-level stakeholders across government, corporate, and non-profit sectors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in developing high-quality proposals and funding applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
