As we scale our platform and transition toward recurring, enterprise-grade data products, we are strengthening our revenue engine. We are seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Lead to drive client acquisition, build strategic partnerships, and expand revenue opportunities across markets.

Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth & Client Acquisition:
- Develop and execute a structured business development strategy aligned with company growth targets.
- Identify and pursue new enterprise, development, and institutional clients across priority markets.
- Build and manage a healthy revenue pipeline with clear conversion tracking.
- Lead client meetings, product presentations, and negotiations.
- Close new contracts and partnership agreements.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Develop strategic partnerships with NGOs, multilaterals, private sector institutions, and ecosystem players.
- Convert founder and leadership networks into structured revenue opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for recurring revenue through subscription, licensing, and long-term contracts.
- Support cross-border and regional expansion efforts.
Product Commercialisation:
- Work closely with product and research teams to refine pricing models and value propositions.
- Translate technical platform capabilities into clear client-facing solutions.
- Gather market feedback to inform product positioning and feature prioritisation.
- Support packaging of analytics products for enterprise clients.
Proposal & Deal Structuring:
- Collaborate with the Grants & RFP Manager on strategic submissions.
- Lead development of commercial proposals for direct client engagements.
- Structure pricing, scopes of work, and partnership frameworks.
- Ensure alignment between revenue targets and operational capacity.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Maintain clear tracking of pipeline, conversion rates, and deal stages.
- Provide monthly revenue forecasts and performance updates to leadership.
- Contribute to board-level revenue reporting as required.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, consulting sales, or institutional client engagement.
- Demonstrated success closing contracts in development, data, consulting, or technology sectors.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to translate technical solutions into commercial value.
- Experience working with multilaterals, NGOs, governments, or enterprise clients across Africa is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
KPIs (First 12 Months):
- A revenue pipeline established within the first 60 days.
- A minimum of 3–5 new enterprise or institutional contracts closed within the first 12 months.
- A clear conversion tracking system was implemented within the first 90 days.
- At least one recurring or subscription-based revenue stream secured within the first year.
- Revenue targets met or exceeded as defined by leadership.
- Strategic partnerships formed in at least two priority markets.

Remuneration: NGN 1,000,000–1,500,000 Net
