Job Summary
Lead the executive management team in driving the publishing strategy of the company with a focus on revenue growth, innovation, and profit generation. Provide guidance and direction in the actualisation of the company’s vision by ensuring its flagship product maintains its position as the foremost law report in Nigeria and Africa. Identify areas of diversification that will lead to revenue growth.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business strategies to ensure the continuous and timely production of the client’s flagship product.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to diversify the economic base of the company to ensure consistent and superior returns to directors and shareholders.
- Oversee the execution of business strategies to attain the goals of the board of directors and shareholders.
- Oversight of the implementation of policies and decisions made by the board of directors.
- Provide strategic advice and report on the company’s operations to the board of directors on a regular basis to inform decision-making.
- Provide strategic leadership by working with the executive management team to establish long-term goals, plans, and policies of the company.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive business plans by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities.
- Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of the management team, providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.
- Analyse business and operational challenges and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
- Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments, and other business ventures.
- Day-to-day management of company operations to achieve strategic goals.
- Organise and control diverse business operations of the company, and give approvals for projects, plans, and new ventures.
- Act as the face of the company to enhance public perception and brand visibility of the company.
- Review the financial results of all operations and take prompt and appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance and results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (LL.B, Business Administration, Publishing,
- Marketing or related); MBA is an added advantage
- Minimum 10 years' senior management experience, 5+ years at the executive level
- Strong track record in publishing, legal publishing, digital information services or related field
- Demonstrable experience in financial management, product growth, and stakeholder relations
- Strategic thinking and leadership at the board level
- Strong financial acumen and P&L management
- Leadership, change management, and team development
- High integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics
