Griller

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, season, and cook grilled menu items following recipes and portion guidelines.
• Operate and maintain grills, broilers, and related kitchen equipment safely.
• Monitor cooking temperatures and ensure food is cooked to the proper doneness.
• Maintain food quality, taste, and appearance according to restaurant standards.
• Set up the grill station before service, ensuring ingredients and tools are ready.
• Restock ingredients during shifts when necessary.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and hygiene procedures.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of all orders.
• Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
• Clean and sanitize the grill station and equipment after each shift.

Secondary

• Assist with food prep (cutting, marinating, portioning) when needed.
• Help maintain inventory of grill-related ingredients and supplies.
• Report equipment issues or shortages to kitchen management.
• Support other stations during peak hours when required.

Requirements:

• Experience as a griller, line cook, or kitchen staff (preferred).
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and grill temperature control.
• Understanding of food safety, cross-contamination, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple orders.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
• Physical stamina for long hours of standing, heat exposure, and kitchen activity.
