Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Lead environmental consultancy teams, providing desktop, field, laboratory, and environmental studies and monitoring projects for various clients.
- Oversee ESG services, ensuring that client projects meet regulatory requirements while promoting sustainable practices.
- Provide leadership and oversight for the environmental laboratory, ensuring high-quality testing and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement the company’s quality manual and management system processes and policies.
- Conduct and oversee complex environmental testing and analytical procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in environmental management, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
- Must have led the team to complete environmental studies and the approval process.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in using Gas Chromatography (GC) and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) for environmental analysis.
- knowledge of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) frameworks, with demonstrated familiarity in GHG inventory reporting methodologies and applicable regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
