Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop compelling content (written, visual, and video) that celebrates African culture and experiences.
- Research and pitch story ideas that align with our brand's vision.
- Collaborate with our team to create engaging content for various platforms.
- Conduct interviews and research to gather information for content creation.
- Oversee daily operations across movie sets, events, fashion, news/current affairs, productions, and media shoots.
- Design and implement efficient processes for production planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and logistics.
- Manage vendor relationships, talent scheduling, equipment procurement, and location coordination.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, licenses, and safety standards.
- Supervise production crews, operations staff, and freelancers.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for movies, events, and brand activations.
- Build and lead digital campaigns across social media, blog, web, and email to drive engagement and audience growth.
- Oversee PR, media relations, influencer partnerships, and sponsorships.
- Lead content marketing efforts including trailers, behind-the-scenes, interviews, and promotional shoots.
- Position the company as a premier brand in the entertainment and event space.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sponsors, production partners, fashion brands, and event organizers.
- Represent the company at meetings, events, and negotiations.
- Pitch and close deals with potential collaborators, artists, and stakeholders.
- Drive the vision and culture of the company in alignment with the CEO’s strategy.
- Hire, train, and lead teams across operations and marketing functions.
- Analyze business performance and prepare strategic reports for stakeholders.
- Prepare reports and updates on ongoing projects.
- Carry out any other task as may be assigned by the Group Managing Director.
Requirements:
