Job summary

We are looking for a Remote Chat Support Specialist to handle customer conversations through live chat and messaging platforms. This role is ideal for people who communicate clearly in writing, think quickly, and know how to stay polite. You won’t be on calls, your words will do the work.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via live chat and messaging platforms.
  • Provide accurate information, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in real time.
  • Maintain a professional, friendly, and empathetic tone in all conversations.
  • Handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously without losing quality.
  • Document interactions clearly and accurately in the system.
  • Follow chat scripts, workflows, and quality guidelines.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or a relating field.
  • 3 years+ previous experience in customer support, chat support, or online customer service.
  • Excellent written communication and grammar skills.
  • Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail.
  • Ability to type quickly and accurately.
  • Comfortable working with multiple tools and tabs at the same time.
  • Experience in remote or live chat support roles.
  • Familiarity with CRM, ticketing, or chat support systems.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to adapt tone to match different customers and situations.
  • Reliable internet connection and a personal computer.
  • Quiet, distraction-free workspace.
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts, including evenings or weekends if required.
  • Strong time management and self-discipline.
