Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Generate 15-20 qualified leads monthly, ensuring a minimum of 40% are directed toward high-value Fiber/ISP infrastructure or Telco/Technology enterprise solutions.
- Secure 3-5 new strategic partnerships per quarter, focusing on high-impact deals like Telco wholesale agreements or FMCG major distributor/listing contracts.
- Attain a minimum quarterly revenue of ₦35 million from opportunities generated by the business development team.
- Maintain a Deal Win Rate of 25%+ and ensure that 95% of closed deals meet or exceed the minimum acceptable profit margin (20% Net Margin).
- Drive a minimum of 15% year-over-year revenue growth through aggressive upsell and cross-sell within existing accounts.
- Produce one comprehensive competitor/market trends analysis report per quarter, providing actionable insights for growth in areas like Fiber rollout speed or FMCG distribution efficiency.
- Maintain a Pipeline Velocity (time from lead to closed-won) that is 10% faster than the team's historical average by optimizing cross-functional processes.
- Propose 2-3 actionable new product/service ideas per year based on gathered market and customer intelligence across target industries.
- Ensure robust use of CRM tools, maintaining a CRM Hygiene Score of 95%+ for accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting.
- Nurture relationships to ensure a Customer Retention Rate (CRR) of 90% for all accounts sourced through business development efforts.
- Manage, direct, and grow the Business Development team, ensuring 100% team alignment with quarterly revenue goals and contributing to the professional development of each team member.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a master's (MSc.) qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development and sales
- Proven ability to drive quantified revenue growth and expansion
- Strong understanding of sector-specific market trends and Fiber network architecture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Must possess a robust quality of network portfolio within the target industries to immediately leverage for business opportunities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
