Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them promptly into the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently and courteously.
- Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any complaints or requests.
- Deliver bills, process payments, and thank guests for their patronage.
- Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and well-presented before and after each guest.
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, dining sections, and utensils.
- Monitor dining areas to ensure guests are seated quickly and receive prompt service.
- Assist with table arrangement, seating, and crowd management during busy hours.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
- Cooperate with fellow waiters/waitresses and supervisors to maintain smooth operations.
- Attend daily briefings to learn about menu changes, promotions, or special events.
- Promote daily specials and upsell beverages, desserts, or side dishes.
- Suggest food and drink pairings to enhance the dining experience.
- Contribute to achieving daily sales targets through excellent service and customer engagement.
Requirements:
- Minimum OND
- 1 years of previous work experience in similar role
