Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages such as cappuccino, latte, espresso, mocha, milkshakes, matcha, smoothies and other specialty drinks.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment effectively.
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all beverages.
- Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and making recommendations when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and equipment at all times.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies and report when replenishment is needed.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards in food and beverage preparation.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally to ensure a positive experience.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Highly experienced Barista with prior experience working in a café or restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage recipes.
- Experience operating espresso machines and other coffee equipment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in beverage preparation.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Preferred Skills:
- Latte art skills are an added advantage.
- Ability to recommend beverages based on customer preferences.
- Good teamwork and multitasking abilities.
Remuneration: NGN 130,000
