Job Description/Requirements
As a Travel Consultant at Finchglow Travels, you are responsible for managing and optimizing travel bookings, delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving corporate and trade partner growth, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. Your role involves:
- Advising clients on flights, hotels, visas, and travel services.
- Expanding the business through corporate clients and trade partners.
- Upselling and cross-selling value-added services.
- Ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all travel bookings.
You will work closely with corporate clients, trade partners, and individual travelers to deliver high-value travel solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Booking & Travel Advisory Services
- Ensure 98%+ accuracy in booking flights, hotels, transportation, and travel packages.
- Provide expert consultation on visa applications, destinations, activities, and travel regulations.
- Complete 95% of all travel bookings within agreed timelines, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Use GDS (Global Distribution Systems, NDC (New Distribution Capabilities) and CRM tools to manage all bookings and track client interactions.
2. Corporate & Trade Partner Growth
- Drive monthly corporate and trade partner growth, ensuring a 35% increase in revenue from these segments.
- Maintain active engagement with at least 25 corporate clients and 30 trade partners per month.
- Develop and manage a structured pipeline for corporate travel accounts and trade business expansion.
- Ensure at least 50% of corporate clients book multiple services (flights, hotels, visas, insurance, etc.).
3. Customer Satisfaction & Response Time
- Maintain a 95%+ client satisfaction rating, ensuring high service delivery.
- Ensure 100% response to client inquiries within 7 minutes, maintaining a 98% response efficiency rate.
- Achieve 50%+ revenue growth from repeat customers through personalized service and loyalty programs.
- Implement a customer feedback loop, ensuring 100% of performance evaluations include client satisfaction metrics.
4. Value-Added Services & Revenue Optimization
- Introduce at least two new value-added services per month, such as exclusive travel packages or loyalty programs.
- Achieve a 20% annual increase in revenue through upselling and cross-selling of travel insurance, airport transfers, and visa services.
- Ensure 50%+ of corporate clients purchase at least one additional service beyond flight bookings.
5. Operational Efficiency & Compliance
- Ensure 100% compliance with travel policies, visa regulations, and operational procedures.
- Maintain a 100% avoidance rate of Agency Debit Memo (ADM) by implementing stringent quality control measures.
- Reduce wastage in the booking process by 95% through optimized workflows and automation tools.
6. Performance Management & Reporting
- Meet 100% of set performance targets, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Conduct monthly performance reviews, ensuring all team members meet or exceed KPI targets.
- Submit daily reports on sales performance, customer inquiries, and operational efficiency.
Utilize data analytics (Power BI, CRM insights) to enhance sales tracking and customer engagement strategies.
QUALIFICATION & CERTIFICATION
- First degree in marketing, Business Administration or related field
- 2 years’ professional experience, including supervisory experience within global mobility, immigrations, visa and protocol services
- Sound knowledge of general travel information and destinations.
- Proficiency in the use of online platforms to curate packages and attend to requests
- High proficiency levels with the use of Microsoft Office programs and ability to quickly master new technologies
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skill
- Ability to work in a team environment and excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly innovative and creative thinking
- Excellent customer service delivery
- Ability to work under pressure and effectively multi-task while maintaining professional rapport with clients
