Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to protect company trademarks and intellectual property.
- File, renew, and maintain trademark applications with relevant authorities.
- Monitor and enforce trademark rights, taking legal action where necessary.
- Advise the business on intellectual property risks and compliance.
- Liaise with legal teams, regulators, and partners to ensure brand protection.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Intellectual Property, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in trademark management, brand protection, or IP law.
- Strong knowledge of intellectual property regulations across African countries.
- Experience managing trademark portfolios and filing applications.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Membership in a recognized IP or legal association is an added advantage.
Remuneration: NGN 500,000
