Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and organized individual to join our team as a programmes & communications officer. This role combines programme management, communications, and strategy execution and is ideal for someone who can bring ideas to life, coordinate projects, and communicate the impact of our initiatives within and beyond the church.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Programme Development & Execution

  • Design, plan, and execute community, youth, and development programmes (e.g., KBS Academy initiatives, outreach projects, and leadership trainings).
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets; track deliverables and ensure on-time completion.
  • Work with ministry leaders and volunteers to coordinate logistics, resources, and communications.
  • Monitor programme outcomes and prepare reports and presentations on impact.


Communications & Public Engagement

  • Develop and manage communication materials — newsletters, social media posts, event updates, press releases, etc.
  • Work closely with the media and creative teams to ensure messaging reflects our values and vision.
  • Maintain relationships with partners, donors, and community stakeholders.
  • Support brand storytelling through photos, videos, and success stories from programmes and participants.


Project & Team Coordination

  • Facilitate team meetings, track action points, and support efficient collaboration.
  • Prepare documentation, proposals, and progress reports for leadership review.
  • Liaise with the Finance and Admin teams to ensure smooth programme operations and accountability.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, project management, development studies, or a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in project or programme coordination, preferably within a non-profit, church, or educational environment.
  • Strong communication and writing skills (reports, proposals, and social media content).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficient in tools like Google Workspace, Trello/Asana, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in training or event planning.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks.
  • Passion for community development, faith-based programmes, and youth empowerment.
  • Deep alignment with the mission and values of Precious People’s Assembly for all Nations.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Collaborative, humble, and willing to serve.
  • Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
