Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods
- Cooking a variety of savoury dishes when required.
Requirements:
- 2 years of proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Must be able to cook a variety of savoury dishes in addition to baking.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, bread making, dessert plating, and cake decoration.
- Creativity in developing new recipes and improving existing ones.
- Ability to follow and adapt recipes to maintain consistency and quality.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to presentation standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
