The Operations & Production Supervisor is the role responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain, procurement, and production process at Starbite. This person ensures our unique products are produced to the highest quality standards while managing inventory, supplier relationships, and logistics.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Production Oversight:
- Supervise the production of food products, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and quality for products.
- Implement and enforce hygiene and food safety protocols in the production and packaging area.
- Monitor the freshness and quality of perishable ingredients.
Inventory & Supply Management:
- Conduct daily checks on finished product inventory to ensure order fulfilment can be met.
- Use a "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) or "First-Expired, First-Out" (FEFO) system to manage stock, especially for products with a shorter shelf life.
- Create and manage a reordering schedule for raw materials to prevent stockouts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with your suppliers for consistent, high-quality ingredients.
Order Fulfillment & Logistics:
- Oversee the picking, packing, and labelling of orders from the moment they are placed online.
- Coordinate with delivery partners (e.g., courier services in Lagos) to schedule pickups and track deliveries.
- Troubleshoot any shipping delays or issues with couriers to ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Optimise packing methods for different offerings to ensure snacks arrive in perfect condition.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of proven experience in an operations or production management role, preferably within the food, beverage, or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Experience with supply chain management, procurement, and inventory control.
- Strong knowledge of food processing and preservation techniques.
- Excellent decision-making and creative problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field is a plus..
Location: Ajah, Lagos
Remuneration: NGN 100,000 – 250,000.
Work Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
