Line Cook

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute menu items according to our recipes, presentation standards, and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient food preparation during service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist in ingredient prep, portion control, and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
• Contribute creative ideas for daily and seasonal specials.
• Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, the chef and other team members.
• Be able to adapt to high-pressure situations and busy service periods.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of previous experience as a line cook in a fast-paced hotel restaurant environment is preferred.
• Minimum of SSCE.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques.
• Attention to detail in presentation, flavour, and consistency.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for culinary arts.
• Advantage if you stay around Gbagada, Somolu, Bariga,  and Oworonshoki
