Role Description

The Import Assistant will be responsible for managing import documentation, coordinating customs procedures, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. Other duties include liaising with delivery providers and clients, monitoring shipments, and addressing any import-related issues in a timely manner.
The role involves collaboration with different teams to ensure efficient and smooth import operations.
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Import Assistant located in Port Harcourt.
Qualifications

• Proficiency in Customs Brokerage and Import-related regulations
• Strong Communication skills for effective coordination with clients, teams, and vendors
• Experience in managing Import operations and documentation
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment
• Prior experience in logistics or shipping is an advantage
• Relevant educational qualifications in logistics, transportation, business, or related fields
