Human Resource Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Manage performance appraisal systems and provide coaching support to managers.
• Ensure legal compliance with labor regulations and internal policies.
• Handle disciplinary and grievance issues in a fair, timely, and confidential manner.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and build a positive workplace culture.
• Develop policies to support a growing team (e.g., time-off, benefits, training, etc.).
• Support organizational development, including structure, growth planning, and leadership development.
• Prepare reports for management decision-making.
• Coordinate with operations departments for staffing needs.

Requirements:

• BSc. Degree in a relevant course of study
• Minimum of 6 years of HR experience
• Strong knowledge of labor law and HR practices in Nigeria.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in recruitment policy development and performance management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Prior experience in food & beverage retail or hospitality is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data for decision-making
• Knowledge of compensation and benefits structures in the Nigerian market.
