Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage performance appraisal systems and provide coaching support to managers.
- Ensure legal compliance with labor regulations and internal policies.
- Handle disciplinary and grievance issues in a fair, timely, and confidential manner.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and build a positive workplace culture.
- Develop policies to support a growing team (e.g., time-off, benefits, training, etc.).
- Support organizational development, including structure, growth planning, and leadership development.
- Prepare reports for management decision-making.
- Coordinate with operations departments for staffing needs.
Requirements:
- BSc. Degree in a relevant course of study
- Minimum of 6 years of HR experience
- Strong knowledge of labor law and HR practices in Nigeria.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in recruitment policy development and performance management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Prior experience in food & beverage retail or hospitality is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data for decision-making
- Knowledge of compensation and benefits structures in the Nigerian market.
