The General Manager will provide strategic, operational, and commercial leadership for a high-security card manufacturing and personalization organization serving financial institutions, telecom operators, and regulated entities, with accountability for secure production, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and sustainable profitability.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and market share within the secure card manufacturing and personalisation sector.
  • Provide overall oversight of production operations, ensuring efficient resource utilisation, capacity optimisation, and consistent delivery of quality output.
  • Lead product development and innovation initiatives across card issuance, personalisation, and value-added secure services to meet evolving client and market needs.
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulatory, security, and industry standards.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with customers, partners, regulators, and key stakeholders, ensuring trust, service excellence, and long-term engagement.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management, driving cost control, margin improvement, and financial discipline.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management and operational team, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in senior leadership roles in printing industry, preferably within smart card manufacturing, secure production, or related regulated industries.
  • Strong strategic, operational, and financial management capability, with proven experience delivering results in complex environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the presence and drive expected of a senior executive
