Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Business Revival:

  • In collaboration with the CEO, develop and execute a comprehensive 90-day, 6-month, and 1-year business revival plan.
  • Re-establish and optimise all business processes for both the catering and plantain chips divisions.
  • Set new performance benchmarks (KPIs) for quality, efficiency, sales, and profitability.
  • Serve as the primary driver of the company's new culture, championing accountability, integrity, and excellence.

Operations & Production Management:

  • Oversee the entire operational chain, from procurement of raw materials to production, packaging, quality control, and logistics.
  • Ensure all production activities, especially for the plantain chips, strictly adhere to NAFDAC standards and other regulatory requirements
  • Implement cost-effective measures across the supply chain to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and facility management.

Team Building & Human Resources:

  • Lead the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of a completely new, high-performing team across all functions (kitchen, production, sales, admin, logistics).
  • Develop training programs, performance management systems, and clear operational handbooks.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and motivating work environment built on trust and mutual respect.

Financial & Commercial Management:

  • Develop and manage the annual budget, oversee the profit and loss (P&L) statement, and ensure the company's financial health.
  • Analyze financial data to make informed business decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead pricing strategy for both catering services and wholesale plantain chips.
  • Drive business development by re-engaging past corporate clients, securing new catering contracts, and strengthening relationships with supermarket partners.

Security & Risk Management:

  • Conduct a thorough review of existing security vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement robust security protocols and risk management strategies to safeguard company assets, infrastructure, and personnel.
  • Establish clear incident response procedures.
