Job Summary

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Deputy Chief of Staff based in Lagos. The Deputy Chief of Staff will assist the Chief of Staff in coordinating cross-departmental efforts, managing strategic initiatives, and ensuring organizational goals are met efficiently.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Chief of Staff in coordinating organizational priorities and ensuring alignment across departments.
  • Facilitate clear and efficient interdepartmental communication to optimize workflow and decision-making.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead and manage special projects from ideation to completion.
  • Provide analytical support to executive leadership and prepare high-quality reports, briefs, and presentations.
  • Monitor organizational performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  •  Act as a liaison between senior leadership and internal teams to enhance operational efficiency.


Requirements:

  • Strong organizational, project management, and operational skills to manage multiple priorities and coordinate complex tasks.
  • Leadership and interpersonal communication skills to collaborate across diverse teams and effectively build relationships.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and critical decision-making abilities for organizational planning and execution.
  • Adaptability and a solutions-driven mindset to manage challenges and dynamic work environments.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and conflict resolution is a plus.
  • Proven analytical, research, and presentation skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar role or within operations, strategy, or administrative leadership required.
  • Familiarity with organizational systems design or African contexts is advantageous.
