The Chef at Remi Bistro Restaurant is responsible for planning, preparing, and executing high-quality meals that reflect the restaurant’s culinary standards and style. This role involves managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, maintaining hygiene standards, controlling costs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through creative, delicious, and consistent dishes. The ideal candidate is a passionate and detail-oriented culinary professional with proven experience in menu creation, team leadership, and kitchen management.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and present a diverse menu of dishes that meet Remi Bistro’s quality and aesthetic standards.
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities to ensure efficiency and timeliness.
- Train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff to maintain high performance and discipline.
- Design and update seasonal or special menus in collaboration with management.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and coordinate timely procurement of ingredients.
- Control food costs, reduce waste, and optimise kitchen operations for profitability.
- Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet consistent portion sizes, quality, and presentation.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and report repairs or replacements as needed.
- Collaborate with service staff to ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience
- Culinary training
Location: Surulere, Lagos
Remuneration: NGN 100,000 -150,000
Working Hours: Tuesday - Sunday, 9:45 AM - 10 PM
