Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies to identify new markets and growth opportunities, setting sales targets and forecasting.
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Sales and Negotiation: Prepare and present business proposals, pitches, and presentations, and negotiate and finalise agreements and contracts.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to guide decision-making.
Relationship Management:
- Client Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Client Needs Assessment: Understand client needs, objectives, and pain points to develop customised solutions.
- Client Communication: Act as the main point of contact, address client concerns, and respond promptly to inquiries and issues.
- Account Growth: Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximise revenue.
- Client Retention: Ensure client satisfaction by monitoring performance, addressing complaints, and gathering feedback for improvement.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as sales, marketing, product development, and finance to support business goals and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and other performance metrics to management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, and marketing
- Must be business-oriented with excellent marketing skills
- Strong ability to develop and maintain business relationships with organisations
- Minimum of B.Sc. in a related field
- Experience in the healthcare or diagnostics industry is an added advantage
Location: Maitama, Abuja
Compensation: Competitive salary + commission structure
