Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities within the software industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, industry influencers, institutions, and organisations.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Generate leads, conduct sales presentations, and negotiate contracts to close deals successfully.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling campaigns and promotional materials that align with business objectives.
  • Provide valuable insights and feedback on product offerings and pricing strategies based on market demands and competitor analysis.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to adjust business strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in business development or sales within the software industry.
  • Strong understanding of software products and services, including SaaS and enterprise solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex ideas and solutions to clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker who can identify market opportunities and develop actionable plans.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and establish mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Team player with the capacity to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams effectively.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to analyse market data, trends, and customer feedback to inform decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
