Job Summary

TAG Energy is an integrated service company offering a comprehensive range of oilfield products and support services in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry. The company is looking to hire a Business Development Manager.

  • Minimum Qualification : Degree
  • Experience Level : Senior level
  • Experience Length : 10 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Research Organizations to find new business opportunities and possess a good understanding of their products/services.
  • Act as the subject matter expert of all Company products and services.
  • Liaise with OEMs and customers to organize meetings, presentations, and training.
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
  • Set achievable goals for the business development team and ensure the goals are met.
  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
  • Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
  • Attending conferences, meetings and industry events.
  • Prepare business proposal and strategies.
  • Following industry trends both locally and internationally.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of Business Development/ Sales experience, with relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Proven sales track record.
  • Experience in sales, marketing or related field.
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multitask.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
