Job Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager to lead and drive strategic growth initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, leading commercial negotiations, and expanding our market presence within the upstream and midstream energy sectors.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new services or technology offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Drive sales pipelines, generate qualified leads, and convert them to revenue.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Participate in the preparation of proposals, RFQs, and presentations for bids and tenders.
  • Represent Macosine Energy at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, project management) to align service delivery with client expectations.
  • Track business development performance and provide weekly/monthly reports to leadership.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the oil & gas or energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of upstream oil and gas operations, particularly drilling services, well intervention, and environmental solutions.
  • Proven ability to win new business and develop accounts within highly competitive markets.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with bid/tender processes and government/IOC procurement systems is a strong advantage.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Relevant certifications in project management, energy services, or business development will be an added advantage.
