Responsibilities:
- Expanding and managing the online marketing presence of the store.
- End-to-end management of online sales. From advertising, orders from customers, delivery, and customer experience feedback.
- Making sure both online and in-store customers make subsequent purchases and referrals.
- Sales and Profitability: Drive sales performance to meet financial targets, manage the store budget, control costs, and implement strategies to boost profitability.
- Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service, provide a unique shopping experience, handle customer complaints, and create a welcoming atmosphere that appeals to the target demographic.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and manage a team of employees. This includes scheduling staff, assigning responsibilities, managing performance, and fostering a positive team environment.
- Merchandising and Inventory: Oversee merchandise displays and store layout to maximize customer interest and sales, manage stock levels, conduct inventory counts, and handle loss prevention.
- Operations and Compliance: Manage daily operations, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, handle cash and credit transactions, manage administrative tasks, and maintain store cleanliness.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date on the latest fashion and lifestyle trends for children and teenagers to ensure the store's product offerings remain relevant and appealing.
- Marketing and Promotions: Organize and manage advertising campaigns, deals, and promotions to attract customers and drive business.
Requirements:
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to interact with staff, customers, and vendors.
- Business Acumen: Knowledge of retail management principles, including strategic planning, financial reporting, and inventory control.
- Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and customer issues promptly.
- Customer Focus: A passion for delivering excellent customer service and understanding the needs and preferences of young shoppers and their families.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and other relevant retail management software.
- BSc/BA or HND in any relevant course of study.
- Passion for sales and marketing of children's and teens' clothes, shoes, mother care, etc.
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar position would be an advantage.
- Interested candidates should be residents of Abuja.
- We prefer candidates that reside in Wuye, Jabi, Utako, Dakibiyu, Jahi, Kado, Kukuaba, Lugbe, Mabushi, Garki, Durumi, and its environs
Location: Abuja
Remuneration: NGN 160,000 Monthly plus sales commission
