Job Summary

The Business Development Officer drives the growth of the Asset Management Company by identifying business opportunities, acquiring new clients, and expanding the company’s Assets Under Management (AUM). The role focuses on developing strategic partnerships, promoting investment products, and ensuring strong client relationships to enhance revenue generation.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, acquire, and onboard new clients including retail investors, HNIs, corporates, and institutional clients.
  • Market and promote the company’s investment products such as mutual funds, portfolio management services, fixed-income products, and wealth solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging business opportunities and competitive trends.
  • Build strong and sustainable relationships with stakeholders to support business retention and referrals.
  • Prepare and deliver financial presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients.
  • Support brand visibility and lead-generation activities through marketing campaigns and events.
  • Collaborate with investment, operations, and customer service units to ensure client satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Achieve assigned revenue, deposit, and AUM targets within defined timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with SEC, internal policies, and regulatory requirements in all business activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospects, sales activities, and business progress in CRM or designated tracking systems.


Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience
  • OND/HND/B.Sc
  • Good communication/presentation skills
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Performance-driven/Result-oriented
  • Proven Integrity
  • Creative thinking ability
