Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Identify and target potential clients in commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct presentations and service demonstrations tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing in line with company goals.
Market Research & Opportunity Development:
- Research industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging markets.
- Identify new sectors or geographic areas for service expansion.
- Recommend innovative service packages based on client feedback and market demand
Proposal & Tender Management:
- Prepare compelling proposals, bids, and tender submissions for facilities maintenance projects.
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Ensure timely submission of tenders and follow-up with clients.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by management.
- Track sales performance and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.
- Upsell additional maintenance services to existing clients.
Networking & Brand Promotion:
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions.
- Promote the company’s services through strategic partnerships and collaborations.
- Contribute to marketing campaigns and digital content for brand visibility.
Internal Collaboration:
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
- Provide feedback to improve service quality, client satisfaction, and efficiency.
- Participate in regular strategy and review meetings with management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development, preferably in facilities management, property services, or a related industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance services (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, cleaning, security, etc.).
- Ability to prepare and deliver persuasive proposals.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
Working Conditions:
- Office-based with frequent client site visits.
- May require flexible working hours to meet client schedules.
- Travel within the region to meet with clients and attend events.
Remuneration: NGN 250,000.00
