Job summary

We’re hiring a strategic Business Development Executive to grow the Picadailys ecosystem. Secure high-value partnerships with brands and merchants while driving user onboarding. We need a "closer" at the intersection of fintech and marketing to turn everyday engagement into business growth. Scale with us!

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Acquisition: Identify, pitch, and onboard corporate brands and SMEs into Picadilly's rewards ecosystem.
  • Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed monthly targets for both users and partner acquisitions, and sponsored engagement campaigns.
  • Value Proposition Design: Create tailored "engagement packages" for brands, showing them how Picadailys’ gamified tasks can solve their specific business challenges.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and grow long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure high partner retention and renewals.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends in the Nigerian fintech and FMCG sectors to identify new sectors for expansion.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Product teams to ensure brand campaigns are executed perfectly and deliver promised ROI to partners.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of proven success in business development, B2B sales, or corporate partnerships (experience in Fintech is a massive advantage).
  • Exceptional pitching skills: Ability to build and present compelling slide decks that "sell the dream" backed by data.
  • Negotiation Power: Strong ability to handle objections and close deals with users and senior decision-makers (CMOs, Brand Managers, Owners).
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools and digital platforms to track the sales funnel and partner performance.
  • Resilience: A "hunter" mindset with the grit to navigate a fast-paced startup environment.
