Job summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Bar/Lounge Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our lounge and hospitality services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, maintaining excellent customer service standards, supervising staff performance, and supporting management in achieving operational excellence and business growth. The successful candidate must be organised, customer-focused, and capable of managing a fast-paced hospitality environment efficiently.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the daily operations of the lounge, bar, kitchen, and other related service areas during assigned shifts
  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, appearance, and overall performance to ensure professionalism and efficiency
  • Ensure excellent customer service delivery and promptly resolve customer complaints or concerns
  • Support Management in implementing operational policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Monitor stock usage and report shortages, wastage, damages, or any irregularities to Management
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and proper maintenance of the premises at all times
  • Assist in enforcing staff discipline and maintaining order within the workplace
  • Prepare detailed shift reports and escalate operational issues or incidents where necessary
  • Support revenue growth initiatives, customer engagement activities, and promotional campaigns
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational guidelines, and health & safety standards
  • Coordinate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a positive and productive working environment for all staff

Requirements:
  • BSc
  • 2-3 years' experience
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar, lounge, restaurant, or hospitality environment
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Good organizational and reporting skills
  • Customer-service oriented with attention to detail
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays


Remuneration: NGN 120,000
