Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive assistant restaurant manager to support daily restaurant operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will assist in leading team members, maintaining operational excellence, driving service quality, managing inventory and labor, and creating a positive and accountable workplace culture.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in supervising and coordinating daily restaurant operations.
  • Support the management of front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and operational standards.
  • Assist with coaching, training, and developing team members.
  • Support staff scheduling and shift coordination.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Support sales performance tracking and operational reporting.
  • Maintain strong communication between kitchen and service teams.
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, and professionalism among staff.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and staff performance monitoring.
  • Ensure smooth opening and closing operations daily.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of HND qualification.
  • 2–4 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Good understanding of restaurant operations and inventory management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems is an advantage.
