Job Summary

A fast-growing skincare and haircare cosmetics company in Lagos is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and strategic Business Manager to oversee the daily operations, growth, and strategic direction of the Company. This role requires a dynamic individual who can handle management, ensure operational efficiency, and support strategic business initiatives while maintaining the highest standards in customer experience and brand integrity. The successful candidate will have a track record of good people-management, day-to-day operations management and demonstrate the ability to multi-task without dropping the ball on any deliverable. The position reports directly to the CEO and is the second-highest decision-making authority in the company.

  • Working Hours : Full Time

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Help establish company goals and objectives
  • Perform day-to-day business operations management in line with company policies and objectives
  • Develop and manage budgets in conjunction with department heads
  • Implement operational best practices and identify areas for process improvement
  • Hire and train other employees
  • Evaluate performances against department and individual KPIs
  • Ensure that there is both high customer and employee satisfaction
  • Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute business strategies that align with growth goals
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations, including expansion plans for retail, spa, academy, etc


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is an advantage
  • Proven experience managing multiple business units or brands
  • At least 6 years of post-graduate cognate experience
  • Significant time spent in management, HR, administration, and operations
  • Experience with developing and executing business strategy
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent financial and budgeting skills
