To manage and provide regular updates on the details of collaterals securing the risk assets in line with the bank’s credit policy and procedures to achieve strategic objectives.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Establish collateral management and review the plan and generate a periodic report on the variation/movement of collateral value in respect of outstanding credit exposure.
- Coordinate update of collateral register with details of pledged collaterals for monitoring purposes
- Coordinate update of tracker for Insurance policies on Pledged Assets
- Appointment of warehousing Agents/Collateral Managers to manage the stock securing the facilities granted under warehousing arrangement.
- Review weekly report on stock managed under warehousing arrangement to ensure compliance with the dynamics and escalate where there are deviations from the approved conditions/dynamics or diminution coverage or the LTV ratio
- Approve the release of warehoused stock based on the lodgement made into the account in line with the transaction dynamics
- Co-ordinating reporting on collateral value coverage and the loan-to-value ratio
- Reporting and ensuring compliance with the valuation frequencies on pledged assets
- Coordinate and ensure renewal of expired insurance policies on pledged assets through the company's Insurance Brokers on expiration
- Appointment of valuers to carry out valuation/revaluation of assets securing the facilities granted to bank customers.
Requirements:
- Good first degree in any discipline
- A Master’s degree / Professional certification will be an added advantage.
- 5 years of working experience in Banking and 5 years in Credit Risk Management
- Mandatory knowledge of Basic CBN policies and prudential guidelines
- Operational Framework for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
- Good Knowledge of the Bank’s Credit policies and procedures
- Collateral Operations and Management skill
- Good knowledge of documentation procedure and Credit Administration Business Environment / Industry
- Credit Risk skills
- Computer appreciation/data entry (word processing/spreadsheet/presentation
- Analytical skills
- A personable and adaptable individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- An analytical thinker, with the capacity to interpret and assimilate large volumes of complex information
