Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supermarket Manager to oversee the daily operations of our client's retail outlet around the Lekki axis of Lagos.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily supermarket operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and staff supervision
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to build a motivated and efficient team
- Handle customer complaints and queries promptly to maintain excellent service standards
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales, expenses, and overall store performance
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
- At least 3 years of proven experience in retail or supermarket management
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic financial reporting
- Must reside around the Lekki–Ajah axis of Lagos for easy accessibility to the store
