Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Support the Portfolio Companies in devising appropriate corporate and business strategies
• Support in the creation of techniques, tools, and templates to optimize operational performance, including the areas of customer service and training requirements
• Support the portfolio companies to devise high-level sales and marketing strategies, leveraging traditional and digital mediums
• Participate in setting monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and sales targets for portfolio companies
• Reviewing the monthly, quarterly, and annual performance of the portfolio companies including variance analysis vs budgets and targets
• Preparing and presenting periodic reports to the Investment Committee on the performance of the Portfolio Companies
• Making recommendations to the Investment Committee on necessary changes required to enhance portfolio company operations and performance
• Liaising with the Management Team of Portfolio Companies as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Strong working knowledge/understanding of operational processes in the food, and quick service restaurant industry
• Academic qualification of a (Degree) in a relevant field or an MBA is preferred
• Highly numerate with strong commercial acumen
• Excellent analytical ability and a keen eye for detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• A self-starter with the ability to work effectively under pressure; and the ability to foster cordial and effective working relationships with the management teams of the Portfolio Companies
• Quick service restaurant or hospitality industry experience is considerable.
