Job Summary

Plus234 GrillHouse is seeking a reliable and organized Restaurant Supervisor. As the Restaurant Supervisor at Plus234 GrillHouse, you will oversee the daily operations of our kitchen and coordinate both in-house and delivery orders. You’ll serve as the link between the kitchen, customers, and delivery riders. Your role includes supervising kitchen staff, managing order flow, handling payments, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring consistent food quality and customer satisfaction. You will be expected to open and close the restaurant (depending on your shift), monitor staff punctuality and performance, track sales, and report directly to the business owner. You must be proactive, organized, and capable of thinking on your feet during peak periods.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of the kitchen and order area
  • Assign duties to chefs and kitchen staff during your shift
  • Manage incoming orders (delivery apps, phone, walk-in) and confirm accuracy
  • Collect and record payments (cash, POS, transfer), reconcile daily sales
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
  • Monitor staff attendance, hygiene, and discipline
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and front area during and after the shift
  • Report inventory shortages and operational issues promptly
  • Enforce safety, hygiene, and food quality standards
  • Liaise with riders, suppliers, and vendors when necessary


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a restaurant or food-service supervisory role
  • Proven experience handling POS systems and managing cash
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once
  • High level of honesty, responsibility, and attention to detail
  • Fluent in English or Pidgin; Yoruba is a plus
  • Must be comfortable working late shifts (restaurant closes at 1 AM)
  • Must live within or near Lekki Phase 1 or have reliable transportation
  • Ability to use basic technology (e.g., phone apps, Excel, WhatsApp for reporting)
